Candidates must be licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, board-certified, with a Master's in Nursing and active prescriptive authority in Massachusetts. A year of psychiatry practice experience and understanding of EMR systems are required, with three years of experience being a plus. Clinicians must be licensed and reside in Massachusetts and complete in-house training and certification for ADHD treatment.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients via telemedicine, treating individuals aged 8 and up. They will prescribe medication as needed, create and collaborate on client care plans, and complete necessary client paperwork and assessment tools. Responsibilities also include adhering to clinical practice guidelines and consulting with management on client care, programs, and services.
