Candidates should possess a completed degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field, along with demonstrable multiple years of experience in sales, including industry experience with analytical instruments such as portable XRF and portable LIBs, encompassing spare parts and service contracts. Experience in collaborating with industrial customers in sectors like metal recycling, manufacturing, oil & gas, chemistry, and mining is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, are essential, alongside fluent German and English language proficiency. Experience working within large organizations with matrix structures and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce.com and pipeline management are also necessary. A valid driver's license is mandatory, and a willingness to travel up to 60% within Germany is expected.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving booking and sales commitment targets in alignment with the business unit's AOP goals through direct sales. They will develop and implement optimal strategies for lead generation in Germany, manage commercial sales opportunities, and establish performance targets within German industrial markets. The role involves selling, demonstrating, and training on portable XRF and LIBS spectrometers to potential end-customers. The Regional Sales Manager will define and implement new sales processes and capabilities, including territory management and structured sales methods, manage and oversee major customers within Germany, increase visibility and accountability through improved pipeline and forecasting processes, utilizing modern sales tools like Sales Force.com (SFDC), and participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews. They will ensure effective communication of bookings and sales forecasts to management and the organization, implement sales tactics to promote sales and service actions, prepare and manage leads, pipelines, and opportunities in SFDC, and participate in weekly forecasting discussions.
