We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve bookings and revenue commitments in line with the business unit's AOP goals through direct sales.
  • Develop and implement optimal lead generation strategies in Germany.
  • Manage commercial sales opportunities and set performance goals within the industrial markets in Germany.
  • Sell, demonstrate, and train on handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) spectrometers to potential end customers.
  • Define and implement new sales processes and capabilities, including territory management and structured sales methodologies.
  • Manage and support key accounts within Germany.
  • Increase visibility and accountability to generate new opportunities through improved pipeline and forecasting management processes; utilize modern sales tools such as Sales Force.Com (SFDC), monthly and quarterly business reviews, etc.
  • Effectively communicate bookings and revenue forecasts to management and the entire organization to ensure performance and timely delivery of products.
  • Implement sales tactics to promote sales and service promotions.
  • Prepare and manage leads, pipeline, and opportunities in SFDC and participate in weekly forecast calls.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in natural sciences, engineering, business administration, or comparable fields.
  • Demonstrable several years of professional sales experience and industry experience with analytical instruments, including spare parts and service contracts. This includes analytical technologies such as portable XRF and portable LIBS.
  • Experience in collaborating with industrial customers from the metal recycling, manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical, and mining sectors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • Experience working within large companies with matrix structures.
  • Very good communication skills with customers, colleagues, and superiors.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.com and pipeline management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within Germany.
  • Driver's license is mandatory.
