Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-7 years of experience building distributed and performance engineering systems, along with a strong understanding of theoretical trading system design, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Experience working in the sports or betting industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Quantitative Developer will handle large betting and sports datasets, build sports forecasting models using game data, utilize bookmaker odds data to generate prices, program autonomous systems to dynamically allocate liquidity on the Kalshi Exchange, work on performance and ensure system reliability and low latency, retrieve, organize, store, and expose data from the Kalshi Exchange and external sources, and collaborate with the research team to implement forecasting models and algorithms in scalable and efficient ways. They will also maintain an organized record of all executed trades.
