High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in QA, QC, or related field (or Associates' degree or higher in Science or Technology in lieu of experience)
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Solid understanding of GMP regulations in a GMP environment
Knowledge of cGMP practices and aseptic techniques
Able to read, write, and communicate in English
Able to understand and carry out instructions
Reliable
Strong communication (written and verbal)
Effectively multi-task
Able to work in an environment of change
Experienced in performing tasks both independently and within a team setting
Skills in MS Office, electronic document system, TrackWise or equivalent deviation system, Electronic Sample Management System (LIMS), SAP

Responsibilities

Transport samples from manufacturing areas to quality control testing/storage areas
Report sample issues to appropriate management per procedures
Receive samples into analytical and microbiology laboratories
Receive samples for storage into QC Sample Management storage units
Documentation of all activities to meet cGMP/cGDP requirements
Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines
Maintain vital compliance status required by company and facility standards
Clearly and accurately communicate status of samples (picked up, for testing, for send-out) to cross-functional area teams
Maintain up-to-date training records
Effectively train department employees in the execution of Sample Management tasks
Author Sample Management documents in the site electronic document management system
Investigate and complete investigations of minor sample management deviations
Assist with additional laboratory support duties as necessary to meet departmental goals
Pickup GMP manufacturing samples and transport to various lab storage locations within QC
Handle packing and coordinate logistic aspects of shipping samples to offsite customer sites and test laboratories
Use site’s LIMS systems to print labels and record GMP transactions for samples
