Requirements

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
  • Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required
  • Licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing (Pennsylvania)
  • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR a plus
  • Three years experience a plus
  • Complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a certification exam

Responsibilities

  • Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing capacity
  • Prescribe medication in an effort to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
  • Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
  • Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
  • Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs and services on site
  • Provide care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more, primarily adults and adolescents
