Requirements

Minimum of 5-8 years of environmental graphic design, wayfinding, and placemaking experience preferred
Experience with concept through construction administration phases of work
Strong presentation skills to communicate strategies and solutions
Project management, time management and organizational skills to lead and service multiple, concurrent projects
Expertise in code research and requirements related to signage, wayfinding and environmental graphic elements
Expertise in Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD Tools)
Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or other 3D modeling
Familiarity with fabrication, installation techniques, materials and construction specifications
Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering plans
Ability to plan and execute project work plans, including scope definition, project strategy, deliverables, and staffing resources
Experience working on projects involving multiple disciplines
Critical thinking, strategic thinking, and self-motivation
Experience working on projects involving wayfinding, placemaking, and environmental graphic design

Responsibilities

Research, strategy and concept development for environmental graphics, wayfinding and placemaking solutions
Design phase coordination, including design documentation and preparation of production-ready art files
Request for Proposal (RFP) development and coordination
Bid review and evaluation
Shop drawings, print proofs, and/or samples preparation
Implementation phase coordination, including punch list preparation and project close-out activities
Project lead, scheduling, and coordination
Project budget reports, pre-billing reports, and invoice review
Financial success of projects through project management and time management
Development and management of project work plans to meet scope, hours, and deliverables
Communication of project strategies and solutions through presentation skills
Coordination of multiple projects simultaneously
Review of project budget reports, pre-billing reports, and invoices to ensure financial success
