Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in material and product development, with a strong understanding of lithium-ion batteries
  • Proven ability to lead material or product development projects independently
  • Strong failure analysis, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
  • Extensive experience in customer communication; experience in EV (electric vehicle) development is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design cell products based on customer requirements
  • Validate product performance, including electrochemical and safety aspects, and conduct continuous optimization
  • Lead new product introductions (NPI) and manage all related documentation, including BOM, DFMEA, and sample build index
  • Oversee sample builds, identify and resolve technical issues, and lead failure analysis (FA) activities
  • Participate in customer discussions related to new product development
  • Support other departments with cell product–related technical issues
