The International Team at Coinbase is dedicated to expanding the presence and reach of Coinbase products globally. This team has successfully supported initiatives in countries such as Australia, India, Singapore, and Brazil, with more expansion planned. Coinbase Design is integral to achieving the company's vision by tackling complex user experience challenges to deliver delightful and intuitive products, even when faced with intricate technical hurdles. You will contribute to designing our flagship products for the largest user base in the crypto space and conceptualize user experiences for novel features not yet seen in the ecosystem.

Requirements

• Proven experience in user experience (UX) design.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a small team and iteratively enhance user experience.
• Experience in designing for both web and mobile platforms.
• Skill in translating complex technical challenges into user-friendly solutions.
• Strong understanding of user research methodologies.
• Proficiency in illustration or the ability to effectively collaborate with illustrators.

Responsibilities

• Product Improvements:
  • Localization: Regularly review products for accurate translations and propose improvements to align with cultural contexts.
  • Onboarding: Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure optimal user experience, adhering to local requirements.
  • Payments: Work with the payments team and country pods to integrate relevant payment rails.
  • New Products: Ideate, experiment with, and develop new products to address user needs in specific countries.
• Marketing:
  • Incentive Campaigns: Design and implement referral programs, new user incentives, and promotional campaigns.
  • CRM Campaigns: Create campaigns to effectively engage the existing customer base.
• Market Research / Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of competitive landscapes.
  • Execute user testing and research sessions, document findings, and identify opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Coinbase's key metrics within target regions.
• Legal / Regulatory:
  • Support the team in creating compliant yet engaging user experiences.
  • Deliver well-crafted solutions within tight deadlines.
• Collaboration:
  • Work within a small team to iteratively refine user experiences.
  • Manage new features from initial ideation through prototyping, user testing, and final production.
