Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Organic Chemistry
Several years of professional experience in the chemical industry, preferably production-related
Knowledge of recognized problem-solving methodologies (e.g., RCA) and continuous improvement methods (KVP)
Knowledge in project management and leadership
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and good communication skills in German and English
Proficient in SAP and MS Office

Preparation of process-relevant production instructions and operating manuals
Monitoring of product quality and manufacturing costs in the assigned area
Reporting on monthly manufacturing cost deviations ("production order variances") in collaboration with controlling and initiating countermeasures
Optimization of process engineering improvements (e.g., improving space-time yield, increasing plant capacity, reducing waste)
Coordination and support of product introductions, considering necessary safety aspects
Participation in the process engineering design of new or modified plants and equipment, and involvement in investment projects
Accompanying commissioning after major modification measures in the area of responsibility
Regular training of production employees, participation in safety studies (e.g., PAAG, HAZOP), and monitoring the implementation of decided measures
Onboarding and instruction of personnel, as well as ensuring appropriate technical/organizational support for employees in the area
Support in organizing regular employee appraisals based on knowledge criteria
