Responsibilities
Possess the skills necessary to execute the design of electrical and electronic systems and subsystems in accordance with accepted engineering practices, published codes, and regulations
Lead the design for show control from blue sky, through detailed design, production, installation, T&A, and opening to guests
Lead and mentor an engineering team through all phases of engineering design, production, installation, testing and documentation
Attend and lead design and peer reviews
Participate in all aspects of system design and testing
Produce engineering drawings, specifications, test plans, input to technical manuals based on Disney standards
Manage and develop complex attraction- or land-level budgets and schedules, while tracking personal and team progress against planned targets and actual performance
Extensive troubleshooting knowledge and skillset
Design management skills in a fast paced creative environment
Influence outside vendor product and industry standard development – domestic and international
Finalize detailed interface requirements between controls and ride mechanical and audio elements
