  • Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily, with constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back
  • Ability to pass drug/alcohol test, background check, and random drug testing

Responsibilities

  • Operate a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates
  • Prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake as required by product plans and production schedules
  • Ensure sufficient raw materials are available; measure and align materials to be used
  • Inspect products and evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance on the press brake and maintain a clean work area
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
