Requirements

  • Pega CSSA certification required
  • Proven experience in production support and operational troubleshooting of Pega applications
  • Australian Citizen with an active security clearance
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, on-call, and perform after-hours deployment activities

Responsibilities

  • Triage, investigate, and resolve production incidents and high-priority defects for Pega applications
  • Perform root-cause analysis (RCA), document findings, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Implement configuration fixes, rule changes, data fixes, and small enhancement requests in a controlled, auditable manner
  • Manage and apply Pega hotfixes, patches, and emergency promotions; coordinate with release management for scheduled changes
  • Maintain rulesets, versioning, and housekeeping to reduce technical debt (e.g., pruning unused rules, streamlining rules)
  • Monitor platform health (logs, JVM, queues, search/index status) and respond to alerts; tune performance and memory/caching as needed
  • Work closely with middleware/infra teams (WebSphere/Tomcat, DBAs, networking) to resolve integration and runtime issues
