Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ultrasound Sonographer with POC (Point-of-Care) experience
  • 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Sonographer
  • Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) helpful but not required
  • Comfortable with basic software programs
  • Valid driver’s license with review of driving record prior to hire
  • Personal vehicle required for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home
  • Willingness to travel locally in Cambridge, Massachusetts
  • Completion of healthcare facility credentialing process, including up-to-date immunizations: Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine; Varicella vaccine; Negative TB Test; Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine; Hepatitis B vaccine; Influenza vaccine (seasonal); COVID-19 vaccine primary series (boosters may be required)
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 2-week project testing and reporting on a new ultrasound device (per-diem, project-based)
  • In-service on the device (training provided and paid)
  • Scan 32-40 pregnant women over 7-9 days (each scan 15 minutes or less)
  • Notate scan findings on paper forms
  • Complete 3 surveys
  • Complete an exit interview
  • Provide detailed feedback (no sales responsibilities)
  • Travel locally to support customer needs in Cambridge, MA (travel and time paid)
