Requirements
At least 21 years of age
Proof of authorization to work in the United States
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration, valid Nevada Driver's License, and any other required certifications or licenses
Southern Nevada Health District paramedic certification and/or current paramedic certification with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant Paramedic level and EMS experience
Valid/current passport and ability to travel at least 35% of the year
Ability to meet operational requirements in a highly-dynamic environment with strict time constraints in domestic and international settings
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in spoken and written form
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and interact appropriately with management, team members, and outside contacts of different backgrounds and experience levels
Ability to lift or carry 60 pounds unassisted in performance of specific tasks
Ability to physically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work indoors exposed to environmental factors such as CRT, noise, and dust
Responsibilities
Provide medical support to assigned Principal/s locally and during domestic and international trips
Provide emergency medical and trauma care until safe transportation to a hospital can occur
Maintain high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information about Principals, means and methods, and Company information
Monitor executives’ medical condition on a daily basis
Assess each medical situation to determine best course of action and appropriate protocol
Attend to injuries or illnesses by applying pre-hospital treatments including first aid, CPR, administering injections and oxygen, etc
Utilize medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, intravenous fluids, and other procedures and medications for advanced medical care
Monitor patient’s condition en route to the hospital
Collaborate with relevant parties such as police, firefighting units, doctors, etc
Read medication/prescription labels and directions for usage in a quick, accurate, and expedient manner
Lift and move patients as required to provide optimum care
Keep current with new treatments and medical procedures through continuous training and maintain all required certifications
Work past scheduled shift with little or no notice
Perform job duties in a safe manner
Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis
