Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, along with prior professional sales experience and territory management skills. A full understanding of the sales process, including business planning, training, retail selling, and inventory management, is necessary, as is the ability to negotiate and close deals. The applicant must be located within the assigned territory, have strong customer relationship skills, and be able to sell at the top level. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, frequent bending, crouching, and twisting, extensive driving and traveling (up to 80%), occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and meeting the company's Motor Vehicle Record and Company Vehicle Fleet policies. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

The Outside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing their dealership portfolio to achieve and exceed sales and productivity goals across all products. They will assist dealers in maximizing program financial opportunities through customized action plans and drive service advisor effectiveness, training, and retail strategies via coaching. Key duties include collaborating with dealership stakeholders to determine product screens, inventory levels, and pricing, maintaining a consistent monthly contact schedule with dealers, tracking all activity and account information in Salesforce, and staying knowledgeable about industry trends to share best practices.
