Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the specification, design, and integration of new optics enabled products for the Optics Development Engineering group
  • Construct complex system models having all critical parameters needed to produce accurate and efficient models of beam shape and size, focal depth, polarization, and transmission
  • Perform illumination system modeling, simulation of 2D phase grating/diffraction efficiency as a function of illumination spot shape and size as well as the effects of background wavefront errors and other coherent noise artifacts and beam depolarization
