Position Overview

Mantra Health is seeking independently licensed 1099 therapists to provide virtual therapy to college students across the United States. This is a fully remote position focused on revolutionizing student mental health care by providing universal access to high-quality services.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for independently licensed therapists who are passionate about supporting college students and share our commitment to accessible mental health care. We especially encourage applications from BIPOC therapists to foster diversity and culturally sensitive care within our community.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Active independent clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC) in Oklahoma. Multi-state licensure is a significant advantage as we serve students in all 50 states.
  • Skills: Ability to conduct thorough biopsychosocial intakes with clear diagnostic assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, meaningful virtual therapy using evidence-based interventions (e.g., MI, CBT, ACT, DBT).
  • Utilize our advanced collaboration portal to connect with and support students.
  • Work closely with campus treatment providers, supervisors, and peers for cohesive care.
  • Maintain timely and precise records of all clinical interactions.
  • Partner with the administrative support team to enhance student care.
  • Collaborate with leadership during critical patient scenarios.
  • Become an expert in our unique care model to effectively support college students and refine therapeutic skills.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Location Type: Fully Remote (within the US)
  • Start Date: Rolling start dates from 7/28/25.
  • Schedule Flexibility:
    • Weekday Shifts: Available anytime between 9:00 am to Midnight Eastern Time.
    • Weekend Shifts: Available anytime on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
  • Commitment: Minimum 8 hours of commitment requested per week. Ability to flex up and down based on student volumes. Summer hours are available but not required.
  • Compensation:
    • $76 per intake session (60-minute)
    • $57 per follow-up session (45-minute)
    • $30 for all no-show appointments
    • $60 per hour for attending monthly therapy training and all-hands meetings
