Position Overview

Vannevar Labs is seeking a self-driven, mission-motivated expert to lead a new business unit focused on offensive cyber capabilities. Our mission is to be the technology backbone for strategic competition against peer adversaries, supporting critical missions in intelligence, information operations, special activities, and perception management. We have a proven track record since 2019, supporting all US service branches, multiple combatant commands, partner nations, and the intelligence community with both hardware and software products. We have experienced significant growth, achieving $80M in run-rate revenue and securing $91M in venture capital funding.

The Role

Vannevar has expanded its capabilities into targeting, geospatial, sensing, and economic warfare. We see a significant opportunity to expand our cyber capabilities into the offensive domain to address real security threats, particularly concerning counter-narcotics and cartels in the NORTHCOM and SOUTHCOM AORs. As the leader of this new business unit, you will spearhead a cross-functional team of engineers and strategists, laying the foundation for our offensive cyber endeavors.

Responsibilities

• Make new product bets within our cyber capabilities, with autonomy over the growth, success, strategy, and engineering teams deployed into this business unit.
• Take complete ownership of the outcome of the business unit.
• Deeply embed with customer groups to understand specific mission problems.
• Develop and deploy cyber capabilities to solve those mission problems.
• Partner with the Business Development function to go-to-market and grow the business unit.
