The position is located at Avera Medical Group Orthopedics-Aberdeen and involves Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am-1:00 pm (72 hours every 2 weeks), with primarily days but including night, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
Candidates must be a licensed Physician Assistant qualified to practice in the state, hold Federal Drug Enforcement Admin certification, and Certified Physician Assistant from NCCPA upon hire; the role serves as first assist in OR.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward, collaborating with physicians and staff on patient care, education, and strategic initiatives.
Strong candidates demonstrate expertise as a practitioner, consultant, educator, and health professional, with skills in assessing, diagnosing, treating patients, performing procedures, collaborating with physicians, providing health education, and ensuring quality, ethical care.
