Requirements

The Node.js Developer should possess 2-5 years of experience in backend development using Node.js, a strong understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming, experience with Express.js or similar frameworks, proficiency in building RESTful APIs and working with JSON, and good knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and an understanding of microservices architecture and containerization, particularly Docker, are also required. Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS is a plus, as is experience with TypeScript and CI/CD tools and pipelines.

Responsibilities

This role involves designing and implementing high-quality backend solutions using Node.js, developing RESTful APIs and managing integrations with third-party services, collaborating closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver features and improvements, writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability, maintaining code quality through test automation and code reviews, and troubleshooting and debugging production issues as needed.
