Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the clinical situation of patients following RAS guidelines and internal protocols
  • Plan treatment for patients
  • Monitor the clinical evolution of patients
  • Prepare corresponding clinical situation reports
  • Admit new patients
  • Transfer patients to other therapeutic units if necessary
  • Implement company policies and guidelines in care matters and monitor clinical reference indicators
  • Prescribe the most appropriate renal replacement therapy modality for each patient
  • Register prescriptions, treatments, and other parameters in established clinical information systems
  • Fulfill documentary requirements for patient clinical histories
  • Comply with all applicable procedures and regulations
  • Elaborate, analyze, and monitor care quality indicators
  • Participate in quality meetings and reviews of care indicators convened by the RAS
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of the company's care policy
  • Participate in analysis and research tasks organized by the company for the unit
  • Provide clinical information and health advice to patients and families
  • Attend company-established training courses
