Responsibilities

  • Define and manage product offering, positioning, and pricing across the product life cycle of a given portfolio
  • Guide direct/indirect sales teams on product-related dimensions
  • Plan business objectives for a specific portfolio and achieve them through ongoing adjustments of product-related decisions
  • Communicate, brief, and support direct and indirect sales force on product strategies
  • Define advertising and demand generation priorities at strategic and tactical levels in partnership with Marketing
  • Lead operational success, strategic alignment, and integration of activities with other major organizational functions
  • Influence strategy, set policy and direction for the designated function or department
  • Own a significant number of measurable functional, operational, and strategic goals or priorities
  • Assume responsibility for successful implementation of business plans in a defined area
  • Act as key advisor to executive management (reports to VP) in influencing strategic direction
  • Lead/manage marketing, operational, and financial aspects of assigned product grouping/segment (e.g., US Commercial Notebooks)
  • Develop short and mid-term plans to achieve market growth, revenue, and operating profit goals
  • Develop and lead cross-functional go-to-market team to support daily execution of marketing, operational, and financial activities
  • Develop strategy with field sales teams, sales management, and other key stakeholders on programs and product positioning to win business
