Responsibilities

  • Provide fair balanced, objective scientific information and education to opinion leaders (OLs), health care professionals, and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs
  • Serve as scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products in Immunology-GI therapeutic area
  • Stay abreast of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in therapeutic areas of interest
  • Provide research support for company and investigator-initiated research
  • Build external relationships with identified OLs and health care providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., biocoordinators) and develop/manage a geographical territory (Rocky Mountains: CO, UT, MT, WY, ID), including virtual and in-person engagements
  • Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan, including educational activities with OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices
  • Rapidly identify and compliantly collaborate with field-based partners to support Healthcare Providers and positively impact patients
  • Respond in a timely manner to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators, health care systems, academic medical centers, and population health decision makers, integrating scientific data including real-world evidence into real-life practice
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines
  • Consistently demonstrate strategic territory planning and ability to build strong relationships within the territory
