5-10 years of experience in onshore gas transmission and/or hazardous liquid pipeline engineering, pipeline operations, or pipeline construction
5+ years regulated gas or hazardous liquid integrity management experience (Field Operations preferred)
Experience, training and/or knowledge of pipeline operations and regulations related to line locating and ROW patrol operations preferred
Experience interacting, advising and communicating effectively both orally and in writing preferred
Experience in scheduling or dispatch preferred
Experience with all relevant safety codes and regulations
Familiar with industry practices and permitting requirements for pipeline design, construction, and pipeline assessment techniques/applications
Ability to learn and use new software and technology
Skills in Microsoft Excel, ESRI GIS applications and utilizing mobile technology
Ability to communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information or instructions; conduct oral presentations
Ability to learn and perform other jobs as required for relief assignments
Ability to perform duties with a set timeline, follow a schedule and be forward thinking for pre planning of jobs
Responsibilities
Screen One Call locate requests to determine if they are to be dispatched to Operations or clear of relevant assets
Develop basic understanding of Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping layers within the Ticket Management System and/or ESRI GIS Portal (centerline, operational areas, DOT Class, etc.)
Dispatch emergency One Call tickets and contact affected Operations personnel in a timely manner during business hours
Provide administrative support by managing the Ticket Management System setup to ensure correct configuration through various changes in personnel, organization, etc
Utilize State One Call sites, GIS and the Ticket Management System to research One Call tickets, excavation activity, scope of work and asset locations for Operations personnel, inquiring landowners, etc. on an as-needed basis
Generate and distribute productivity and compliance reports for Operations leadership utilizing various platforms (including but not limited to the Ticket Management System, ESRI GIS Portal and TIBCO Spotfire)
Log relevant Damage Prevention data on Good Catch, Near Miss and Damage events input in ESH database by Operations to support Damage Information Reporting Tool (DIRT) reporting efforts
Manage new and ongoing observations received from pilots in GIS, creating work orders for observations requiring follow-up and ensuring completion of follow-up work for ongoing observations
Coordinate with HR and IT to setup new pilots as contractors in the system, provide them with the required equipment and relevant training on required programming
Assist in trainings for Operations personnel and pilots as a part of the One Call, Aerial Patrol and Damage Prevention compliance programs
Prepare documentation for state and federal inspections related to One Call and Aerial Patrol regulations
Work within guidelines and parameters as established by Company Safety Manual, operation procedures and in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
Provide planning for in-line inspection projects
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing a safe, efficient and environmentally sensitive service that meets the customer's needs
Launching and receiving of pigs
Pipeline hydro-testing and dehydration
Chemical and mechanical cleaning and industrial services of pipelines
Pig tracking and SGM stationing
In the bell hole pipeline integrity testing
Pipe integrity inspections
Documentation and evaluation of associated activities for client pipeline operators
Serve as liaison with customers to estimate and quote project work
Coordinate and schedule work crews to cover customer requirements and requests
