Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in financial operations, reconciliation, data analytics, or payments ecosystems
- 4+ years of experience managing high-performing teams in a cross-functional environment
- Great team ability to work across multiple offices and time zones in a very diverse setting
- Strong tech background especially skills in SQL, Python, and familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hive, Spark, BigQuery)
- Knowledge of accounting flows, journal entries, and reconciliation automation
- Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML models (e.g., classification, clustering, anomaly detection)
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or payments operations
- Hands-on exposure to BI/reporting tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI)
- Proven ability to scale data-driven reconciliation solutions across multiple payment channels and geographies
Responsibilities
- Manage a blended team of Reconciliation Operations Analysts and Reconciliation Data Analysts focused on transaction-level accuracy, data recovery and ledger control
- Work closely with the global Team and leadership to deliver on reconciliation operation goals
- Oversee T+1/T+3 reconciliation cycles across global payment processors, internal systems, and ledger platforms
- Drive SOP compliance and internal control readiness (e.g., SOX), including documentation for audit support
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, Finance Controllers, Risk, and Compliance teams
- Review exception reporting and analysis with accounting
- Follow the SOP global recon teams created to ensure alignment on reconciliations and reporting standards
- Provide strategic direction for data automation, Python/SQL scripting, and Big Data analysis to improve reconciliation coverage and efficiency
- Review and guide implementation of machine learning models for anomaly detection, failure prediction, and reconciliation intelligence
