Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in financial operations, reconciliation, data analytics, or payments ecosystems
  • 4+ years of experience managing high-performing teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Great team ability to work across multiple offices and time zones in a very diverse setting
  • Strong tech background especially skills in SQL, Python, and familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hive, Spark, BigQuery)
  • Knowledge of accounting flows, journal entries, and reconciliation automation
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML models (e.g., classification, clustering, anomaly detection)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or payments operations
  • Hands-on exposure to BI/reporting tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI)
  • Proven ability to scale data-driven reconciliation solutions across multiple payment channels and geographies

Responsibilities

  • Manage a blended team of Reconciliation Operations Analysts and Reconciliation Data Analysts focused on transaction-level accuracy, data recovery and ledger control
  • Work closely with the global Team and leadership to deliver on reconciliation operation goals
  • Oversee T+1/T+3 reconciliation cycles across global payment processors, internal systems, and ledger platforms
  • Drive SOP compliance and internal control readiness (e.g., SOX), including documentation for audit support
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, Finance Controllers, Risk, and Compliance teams
  • Review exception reporting and analysis with accounting
  • Follow the SOP global recon teams created to ensure alignment on reconciliations and reporting standards
  • Provide strategic direction for data automation, Python/SQL scripting, and Big Data analysis to improve reconciliation coverage and efficiency
  • Review and guide implementation of machine learning models for anomaly detection, failure prediction, and reconciliation intelligence
