Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7-day per week operation (nights: 7:00pm - 7:00am)
  • Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested
  • Must be able to work overtime if necessary
  • Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards; some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Operate an encapsulating machine to produce products from pre-mixed ingredients, ensuring proper temperatures, machine settings, equipment set-ups, in-process measurements, and quality product
  • Manufacture simple, bulk products
  • Observe machine operation and adjust as needed
  • Take samples of product and perform in-process testing
  • Assist Set-Up person to set up machine, empty basket, clean and prepare machine for changeover, and assist with the actual changeover
  • Assist with cleanup and other Encapsulation duties as needed
  • Operate inline printing equipment
  • May perform other reasonable, related business duties
