Responsibilities

Identify complex problems across multiple platforms and projects within one or more areas of research and develop novel machine learning algorithms to solve them
Evaluate accuracy and functionality of individual machine learning algorithms as well as the overall implications of entire machine learning frameworks
Contribute to internal strategy and roadmap for one or more areas of machine learning research
Promote areas of machine learning research internally and externally, including presenting at external meetings
Oversee design, implementation, and evaluation of future machine learning-based products and applications
Guide multiple engineering teams to successfully deploy and operate machine learning-based products and applications
Provide guidance and leadership to other researchers and engineers in developing novel ways to solve problems using machine learning and discover new machine learning-powered products
Collaborate and influence teams cross-functionally, integrating knowledge of business and functional priorities
Guide the successful completion of high-profile, revenue-impacting programs that use machine learning as essential components
Determine the technical objectives of an assignment and serve as a leader across multiple teams for machine learning technologies and areas of research, including the design of prototypes and partnering with the product team
Lead teams in the design and development of specifications, technical requirements, algorithms, and frameworks of custom machine learning-based designs for future products and applications
Act as a subject matter expert in designing and prototyping high-complexity machine learning models and lead innovation in technical capability delivery
Lead the realization of cutting-edge technical capabilities into business applications and solutions by applying advanced algorithms and techniques to software solutions
Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, confluence pages, white papers, presentations, test results, technical manuals, formal recommendations, and reports
Create patents, application programming interfaces (APIs), and other intellectual property; present papers and/or attend conferences, displaying leadership in these areas
Specialize in LLM agents and large-scale evaluations of them
Test and evaluate solutions presented to the Company by various internal and external partners and vendors; lead teams in completing case studies, testing, and reporting
