Responsibilities

  • Work within an interdisciplinary treatment team in kinderrevalidatie at Basalt Leiden (team 8B, for children and youth 4-18 years)
  • Observe, investigate, and treat children with diverse diagnoses (e.g., cerebrale parese, neurological disorders, spierziekten like Duchenne, psychomotore retardatie, DCD)
  • Address the needs of the child and parents regarding speech and language development, communication, eating and drinking to increase the child's self-reliance
  • Guide and support parents during the treatment period
  • Collaborate closely with parents, the child's environment, revalidatiearts, and external partners like Mytylschool De Thermiek
  • Work at various dependances and integrate into the interdisciplinary team's general tasks
  • Contribute to positive health perspectives, shared decision-making, and innovative eHealth treatments
