Requirements
- Fully licensed therapist in mental health, authorized to screen, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions
- Located in and able to work remotely from New York (or a state where Vida is registered)
- Expertise in evidence-based psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills such as thought logging, cognitive restructuring/reframing, and behavioral activation
Responsibilities
- Manage a panel of clients providing evidence-based assessment, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions, meeting or exceeding completed consult expectations
- Configure Vida Coach calendar to allow clients to schedule and maintain regular contact using in-app video calls and messaging per Vida’s program design and policies; respond and communicate according to timeline expectations
- Develop and update clinical treatment plans in collaboration with members
- Utilize Vida’s integrated CBT content to provide psychoeducation on CBT skills
- Track clients’ progress, serve as an accountability partner, and set goals/trackers/habits in the Vida app to encourage accountability and facilitate daily reminders
- Engage in discharge planning by providing case management services, external referrals, and coordination with other providers
- Respond to crisis situations by following protocols, developing safety plans, assessing program eligibility, and providing referrals when needed
- Communicate effectively with Lead to address client concerns, limitations, treatment progress, and report any clinical performance issues immediately
- Collaborate with other Vida providers to apply an integrated care model to enhance treatment outcomes
- Maintain records of interactions in keeping with legal standards and Vida policy; submit documentation within 24 hours of sessions, treatment plans, communications, cancellations, or no-shows
- Comply with National Standards of Care, state licensing boards, federal, state, and HIPAA regulations, and Vida’s guidelines, Scope of Practice, PHI, and industry standards
