Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PhD, PsyD, MA, or MS) in clinical psychology, school psychology, or related field
  • Passed the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP)
  • Fully licensed as a Licensed Psychologist in the state(s) of practice or under provisions specified by the Board of Psychologist Examiners
  • Specialization in early identification, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental disorders from birth through 21 years
  • Clinical training/background in early intervention programs
  • Experience administering multiple standardized assessments, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2)
  • Experience administering and interpreting assessments for developmental, intellectual, or cognitive functioning; adaptive functioning; social functioning; speech, language, and communicative functioning; and medical and neurological functioning
  • Experience with autism-specific assessments such as ADOS-2 and Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R)
  • Experience administering and scoring standardized tools (e.g., Vineland, WPPSI, WISC-V, EVT, PPVT, ADOS-2, ADI-R, PDDBI, PSI, SRS-2, CBCL)
  • 2+ years of professional experience in examination, evaluation, and treatment of children and their families (preferred)
  • Basic computer and technology proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals suspected of having ASD, including conducting, scoring, interpreting assessment measures, and providing oral and written feedback
  • Administer autism-specific assessments such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R, and tools assessing developmental, intellectual/cognitive, adaptive, social, speech/language/communicative, medical, and neurological functioning
  • Provide sensitive, thoughtful, and supportive feedback to parents
  • Work effectively with team members, parents, young children, and community colleagues
  • Participate in consultation and program development with community providers, schools, and interdisciplinary clinical/research teams
  • Assist in developing corporate structure, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Help manage office staff for maximum efficiency
  • Maintain knowledge of and compliance with state and payor-specific programs and certifications related to psychology practice and diagnostics
  • Promote growth of Centria Healthcare and assist in pursuit of business opportunities
  • Adhere to Centria policies, quality standards, company/payor requirements, perform 5-6 assessments per week, and meet/exceed personal qualitative/quantitative KPI metrics
