Databento is seeking a Freelance Copy Editor for a contract role. This position will focus on editing technical financial content, specifically reviewing a substantial collection of terms and detailed explanations relevant to professional trading and investment workflows. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience editing complex financial or regulatory materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity throughout all entries.
We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate critical thinking and independent analysis of content. While AI tools can be supportive, this role emphasizes strong human judgment and original insight over reliance on generative tools like ChatGPT.
