Candidates should possess 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong foundation in backend engineering, including API design, asynchronous services, and distributed systems. They should be proficient with AWS services and cloud infrastructure, with knowledge of VPCs, IAM, EC2, ECS, and S3. Familiarity with CI/CD practices, tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins, and infrastructure-as-code platforms such as Terraform or Ansible is required. Experience with Linux-based systems, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or JavaScript is also necessary.
As a Lead Software Engineer, DevOps, you will design, implement, automate, maintain, and scale production environments and infrastructure. You will build and own internal platforms, tools, and services to elevate the developer experience, collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines and observability, mentor engineers, and participate in shaping the technical roadmap. You will also monitor the health and uptime of production environments, research and integrate emerging technologies, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
