Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent related work experience. A minimum of 7+ years of prior data migration experience is required, along with 5+ years of experience writing tools using Python or similar scripting languages, 5+ years of experience with MSSQL, and strong knowledge of XML and common banking terminology. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Lead Data Migration Engineer will perform gap analysis on incoming data sets, offering guidance to clients on how to handle gaps and other data-related challenges, quickly troubleshoot complex technical issues and roll out fixes with minimal bugs, map incoming data fields to the Q2 online banking platform through the creation of data filters and/or translations, communicate complex mapping challenges to clients, leverage proprietary Python tools to create or update custom conversion frameworks, manage multiple projects while prioritizing accordingly, troubleshoot client project issues, thoroughly document and track production environment modifications, establish relationships with partner teams, ensure adherence to security and privacy policies, and perform other duties as assigned. They will also mentor junior team members and be available to work weekends and occasional late/early hours.
