Requirements

  • Technical acumen in threat intelligence, including collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to oversee teams and support organizational mission
  • Ability to define and lead multi-year strategy for threat intelligence program aligned with risk appetite and business objectives
  • Capability to identify gaps, prioritize initiatives (e.g., automation, dark web monitoring, intel fusion), and build maturity roadmaps
  • Experience collaborating with leadership across Security Operations, Risk, and IT for strategic alignment and outcomes
  • Willingness to work onsite 4 days a week at Medtronic sites (e.g., Mounds View, Fridley, Lafayette, Irvine, Rice Creek, Jacksonville, Boston, Memphis)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence to identify risks and guide defensive posture
  • Lead the Threat Intelligence team in identifying, analyzing, and reporting on cyber threats, adversaries, and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and mature the organization’s threat intelligence program, including frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Define and lead multi-year strategy for the threat intelligence program aligned with organizational risk appetite and business objectives
  • Identify capability gaps, prioritize initiatives (e.g., automation, dark web monitoring, intel fusion), and build a roadmap for maturity
  • Collaborate with leadership across Security Operations, Risk, and IT to ensure strategic alignment and measurable outcomes
  • Integrate intelligence findings into security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk assessments
  • Oversee development of threat intelligence products such as alerts, briefs, and reports tailored to stakeholders at various levels
  • Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, Risk, Vulnerability Management, and executive leadership to provide actionable intelligence
