Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry
  • Internship student in the cooperative education program (CWIE) with an internship period of at least 4-6 months
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools
  • Knowledge in Statistical Analysis
  • Skills in Project Management
  • Basic knowledge or interest in cleanroom operations, contamination control, or product cleanliness standards
  • Good level of English proficiency (written/verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Work on project-based assignments focusing on contamination improvement in production processes and products
  • Conduct investigations to identify contamination sources and determine root causes
  • Develop and implement actions for contamination control or elimination throughout the manufacturing process
  • Evaluate and improve contamination removal methods to ensure process effectiveness and consistency
  • Establish or enhance protection measures to prevent contamination during assembly, handling, or testing
  • Collaborate closely with process engineers, quality engineers, and production teams to demonstrate and validate improvements
  • Track, analyze, and report project results, including contamination metrics and process performance improvements
