Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, with 7 - 10 years of overall experience. They must have experience in delivering end-to-end services or products from requirement gathering, design, and production deployment. Experience with application monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK/Kibana, Datadog, and Prometheus, along with practices to ensure performance and system observability is required. Knowledge of cloud-native system design and exposure to reliability patterns like failovers, circuit breakers, and auto-scaling is also necessary. Strong development background in Java, including experience with JVM internals, multithreading, concurrency, I/O, and network programming is required, along with experience with Kafka, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.

Responsibilities

As an Integrations Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building strategic integration features within Zoom’s Integration Engineering team. You will work with a team of 9 software engineers to provide exceptional leadership and support of all integrations, both internal and external. This role will play a pivotal part in architecting, designing, building, and supporting the full-stack cloud-native solution. You will leverage Rest APIs, Mulesoft, pub-sub, and file exchange using S3 or SFTP. Additionally, you will apply code optimization techniques to improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of services, mentor junior engineers, conduct effective code reviews, and support career growth through structured feedback and guidance. You will also have experience with building Microservices, implementing message queues and process services via enterprise middleware such as Mulesoft, and utilizing DevOps practices with tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows.
