Requirements

Candidates should have experience with field work such as construction, security systems, or low voltage wiring. Prior knowledge of operating a bucket truck and comfort driving a work van or pickup truck is required. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Office Suite and Google Suite, are necessary. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, at heights up to 30 feet, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently. Good time management, organization, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

The Installation Technician will install poles, including digging holes, and mount solar panels and external batteries. They will affix license-plate reading cameras to poles, working on roads at heights up to 30 feet using bucket trucks or ladders. Responsibilities include repairing minor wiring breaks, documenting installations via a mobile app, managing inventory, and receiving shipments. Technicians will also meet with customers to discuss installation options, perform site surveys, and interpret traffic control plans to ensure proper device placement.
