Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in QA or QC or related field
  • Experience in a cGMP environment
  • Knowledge of automatic inspection equipment, including operation, setup, calibration, interpreting/analyzing results, and troubleshooting
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Ability to stand for full shift
  • Willingness to work with hazardous/toxic materials and in conditions including loud noises, strong odors, various weather, warehouse environment, and PPE requirements (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automatic inspection equipment to assess quality and integrity of pharmaceutical labels, including setup, routine checks, interpreting results, and identifying defects or specification changes
  • Conduct QC inspections at various manufacturing stages, including visual examination of labels, verifying content, accurate counts, checking alignment, and assessing print quality using appropriate tools to ensure standards and regulatory compliance
  • Document and report inspection results, including recording non-conformities or deviations, generating detailed reports, maintaining records, and communicating findings to supervisor or manager to support traceability, corrective actions, and quality assurance
