Requirements

  • Committed to the health and safety of employees, contractors, and visitors
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary engineering program (new engineering graduates welcome to apply)
  • Strong computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Prefer experience with CMMS/Computerized Maintenance Management System (i.e. Maximo)
  • Able to read and interpret drawings (proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset)
  • Critical thinking skills and high degree of organization
  • Troubleshooting capability is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Plant Maintenance team (Manager, Supervisors, Millwrights, Electricians, etc.)
  • Shadow Maintenance Manager to create SOPs and SWIs
  • Assist the Reliability Engineer with a complete review of all current Preventative (PM) and Predictive (PdM) maintenance activities, developing and refining tasks as required to ensure assets are properly maintained
  • Perform spare parts optimization in support of PM and PdM inspection tasks for highly critical assets
  • Assist in the preparation of drawings and modeling to be included in projects
  • Work with Millwrights and Electricians to determine best practices and ensure all vital information collected is transferred to a standard PM template, and drawings are updated as required
  • Work on other engineering related projects to help with plant operations and maintenance
  • Performing other duties as assigned
