Requirements

  • NEBOSH IGC certification
  • 3 years’ experience in rig site
  • Familiar with rig Aramco HSE requirements
  • Good communication skills (Arabic & English)

Responsibilities

  • Managing, applying and ensuring adherence with Aramco and Baker Hughes HSE policies and procedures, and assist the contracted services to comply with the same
  • Promoting, with the management, a safety culture within the workplace in accordance with industry best practices
  • Leading/participating effectively in the site various HSE meetings, present safety data and statistics, communicating HSE alerts and lessons learnt, and discussing issues related to HSE with the crew
  • Performing, verifying, and following up with site inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external HSE standards
  • Monitoring the work environment and watching out for the safety of all workers to protect them from entering hazardous situations
  • Reporting all incidents, accidents and near misses immediately and leading the investigation and analysis process. Compiling incidents reports and communicating the investigation results as required
  • Conducting site HSE inductions for all crew and visitors
  • Ensuring all crew are certified as per Aramco and Baker Hughes training matrixes and conducting refresher training as required
