  • Experience building applications at scale in at least one popular programming language, such as Python, Java, Javascript, Ruby, etc
  • Experience using some form of web framework: Django, Next.js, Symphony, etc
  • Experience managing infrastructure on a platform like AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Proficient experience using a SQL or NoSQL database
  • Knowledge of microservices and/or service-oriented architecture
  • Efficient, practical programmer, designing and producing dependable code
  • Care about making sure code is maintainable and well tested
  • Holistic approach to quality

Responsibilities

  • Build features and design APIs
  • Scale the product as the company grows
  • Own services and systems end-to-end, from requirements gathering to deployment to maintenance
  • Participate in on-call rotation to mitigate issues immediately and rectify root causes
