Requirements

Experience building applications at scale in at least one popular programming language, such as Python, Java, Javascript, Ruby, etc
Experience using some form of web framework: Django, Next.js, Symphony, etc
Experience managing infrastructure on a platform like AWS/GCP/Azure
Proficient experience using a SQL or NoSQL database
Knowledge of microservices and/or service-oriented architecture
Efficient, practical programmer, designing and producing dependable code
Care about making sure code is maintainable and well tested
Holistic approach to quality
Results-driven self-starter with great communication and collaboration skills; emphasis on being team players
Enjoy teaching and mentoring colleagues
Take ownership of the work and like to continuously learn

Responsibilities

Build features and design APIs
Scale the product as the company grows
Own services and systems end-to-end, from requirements gathering to deployment to maintenance
Participate in on-call rotation to mitigate issues immediately and rectify root causes
Solve challenging technical problems
Own impactful products end-to-end
Contribute to engineering culture of technical excellence through inclusivity and mentorship
