Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (all majors welcome; Education or STEM-related majors preferred)
  • Prior math teaching experience (a plus)
  • High-energy, enthusiastic, and charismatic with ability to engage and excite children
  • Availability and willingness to work full-time Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00pm-8:00pm (starting August 2025)
  • Passionate about teaching, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children (Preschool to 2nd grade)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and teach online math classes for students on a weekly basis (5-7 classes, approximately 7-15 hours/week)
  • Participate in paid teaching assistant work by attending classes and learning from lead teachers' methods
  • Conduct 1-on-1 evaluations with new students to help them enroll in correct classes (5-10 hours/week)
  • Grade homework and communicate with parents weekly on students' progress and areas for improvement (5-7 hours/week)
  • Thoroughly understand math concepts and prepare lessons based on Think Academy's curriculum
  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate math classes
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents
  • Other work assigned by teaching management team
