Description: Think Academy US is seeking an enthusiastic Remote Math Teacher to work with students from Preschool to 2nd grade level in math. Teachers will be expected to thoroughly understand math concepts, prepare lessons based on Think Academy's curriculum, deliver engaging and age-appropriate math classes, and communicate regularly with students and parents.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and teaching online math classes for students on a weekly basis (5-7 classes = approximately 7-15 hours/week).
  • Class assignments and teaching hours depend on lesson preparation readiness and student satisfaction.
  • Participating in paid teaching assistant work by attending classes and learning from experienced lead teachers' teaching methods.
  • Conducting 1-on-1 evaluations with new students to help them enroll in the correct classes (5-10 hours/week).
  • Grading homework and communicating with parents weekly to update them on students' learning progress and areas for improvement (5-7 hours/week).
  • Performing other work assigned by the teaching management team.

Work Hours

  • Schedule: 12:00pm - 8:00pm PST Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesdays off)
  • Flexibility: Flexible for non-teaching hours; class schedules are the priority!

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher; all majors are welcome, though Education or STEM-related majors are preferred.
  • Experience: Prior math teaching experience is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • High-energy, enthusiastic, and charismatic with the ability to engage and excite children effectively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents.
    • Passionate about teaching, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children.

  2. 5-Minute Story-Telling: Prepare a brief story about your teaching philosophy.
  3. 10-Minute Teaching: Deliver a short math lesson demonstrating your teaching style.
  4. 15-Minute HR Screening + Final Interview Prep: Complete an initial HR screening and prepare for the final interview.
  5. 1-Hour Final Interview: Participate in a comprehensive final interview.
  6. ~30 minutes Parent & Student Evaluation Simulation: Simulate a parent and student evaluation.
  7. ~30 minutes Team-Fit + Behavioral Interview: Assess team fit and behavioral traits.
