  • Journeyman card or completion of a formal apprentice program or equivalent years of education/experience
  • Certification or ability to obtain certification in ASME Code IX weld tests on ferrous and nonferrous metals
  • Ability to perform critical X-ray welds in field or shop on carbon steel and alloys using SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and GMAC/FCAW processes
  • Ability to read, layout, and fabricate from blueprints
  • Ability to create sketches, measure, and fabricate replacement pipelines
  • Ability to fabricate and install threaded piping, PVC/CPVC piping, and structural steel
  • Ability to qualify for a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • Successful completion of background screening, motor vehicle record screening, drug testing, and pre-employment physical
