Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree, along with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. They should have hardware/system design experience and/or electromechanical experience, and demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience in solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

As a Field Application Engineer, the individual will engage with clients to create technical solutions and identify new business opportunities, utilizing their engineering expertise. They will participate as a technical lead on large customer engagements, partner with the sales team on pre- and post-sales activities, provide advanced technical support and consulting, champion return on engineering investment, and demonstrate an advanced understanding of supplier technologies and market needs. Furthermore, they will manage supplier and customer expectations, attend strategic branch meetings, develop strategic technical plans, support design services initiatives, and conduct engineering customer events or training.
