Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master of Science in Nursing and possess a minimum of two years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They require an active, current, and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner certification, along with a valid NP license to practice in the applicable state, and multi-state licensure if providing services in multiple states. Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver are also required.

Responsibilities

The Family Nurse Practitioner will administer ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy and procedures, complete the admission process, perform physical assessments, document patient data, report significant changes, communicate with the IV team, maintain patient confidentiality, evaluate patient responses, educate patients and family members, participate in quality improvement programs, ensure medication orders are complete and accurate, and provide clinical coverage for other practitioners as needed. They may also be required to travel to worksites and support new market launches.
