Requirements

  • Expertise in parenteral production processes (formulation, aseptic isolator-barrier filling, visual inspection)
  • Ability to operate and train on PAR equipment and processes
  • Willingness for short trips and/or assignments at other sites (3–6 months), including international travel for collaboration, learning, and training
  • Leadership skills to serve as a role model and lead team training
  • Knowledge of safety (HSE goals), quality standards, and procedural compliance
  • Technical proficiency in plant operation, troubleshooting, and process diagnostics

Responsibilities

  • Lead on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity for reliable patient supply
  • Maintain a safe work environment, act as a role model for safe practices, and support HSE goals
  • Act as administrator and technical leader for operations, demonstrate procedural knowledge, uphold quality standards, and teach correct techniques
  • Conduct technical trainings and ensure all operators are qualified for their tasks
  • Operate equipment and perform activities according to the production plan
  • Support review of execution documentation (electronic batch records, SAP, cleaning protocols)
  • Implement key departmental goals: improve safety performance, reduce deviations, increase productivity, ensure training compliance
  • Perform line releases and inspections
  • Manage material and product flow
  • Participate in continuous improvement groups
  • Serve as key resource for troubleshooting and primary contact for escalations on the shop floor
  • Conduct initial diagnostics for process and equipment issues during production
  • Diagnose anomalies, resolve equipment disruptions, involve relevant services, and contribute to problem-solving
  • Prepare necessary materials/documentation for production and verify them
  • Operate and adjust production equipment according to the production plan
  • Control quality during production
