Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Model PD, LGD, EAD, and prepayment parameters under IFRS9, adapting existing models to changes in the current environment, credit risk management policies, and recovery policies
  • Develop stress test models under macroeconomic, climatic, sectoral, or management scenarios
  • Deepen knowledge of portfolios to adapt loss calculation
  • Analyze for the inclusion of macroeconomic scenarios in IFRS9 models
  • Interpret and apply regulatory, regulatory, and corporate standards to Santander Spain's portfolios
  • Evaluate impact and consistency for alignment of IFRS9 models with IRB methodologies
  • Knowledge of macroeconomic and econometric use in stress test models
  • Use of new tools for model development: R, Python, machine learning techniques, and advanced algorithms
  • Functional support of relevant topics and technical review for other team members/consulting teams
  • Functional and technical documentation of the estimation process
  • Management and resolution of recommendations (AI, VI, AE)
  • Support and interaction with the various areas involved and regulators
  • Report results to senior management
