Requirements

Candidates should possess experience in a Software Engineering role, specifically with event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, and internal automation tools, along with experience developing in Golang, Python, Angular, and Typescript. They should also have experience with configuration management & orchestration software such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet, and experience in a Product Security role, particularly with SaaS companies. A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies is required, as well as familiarity with ElasticSearch, relational databases, and graph database solutions. Experience monitoring and analyzing telemetry data, along with experience in Security Operations and/or Incident Response, is also necessary. Finally, experience operating within cloud environments, particularly Amazon Web Services, and a combination of confidence and independence with prudence are essential.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in Product Security, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software and automation tools for security use cases, driving efforts to maintain the reliability of monitoring tools and telemetry sources, and working collaboratively with developers and engineering teams to troubleshoot production systems. You will also contribute to developing processes, architecture, and frameworks allowing engineers across Product Security to contribute to tooling and automation efforts, and working collaboratively with other product security teams and security engineers to safeguard the Security Cloud.
