Requirements

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage complex tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated interest in television, media, and corporate communications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot)
  • Experience with Canva, Keynote, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from January 2026 through June 2026
  • Fully available Monday through Friday primarily, and occasionally nights and weekends, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing in the Burbank, California area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work in the Burbank, California area
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework or prior internship experience in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Experience creating or editing digital or video content

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and shadow team members across multiple Strategic Communications disciplines, contributing to writing, editing, and organizing materials for internal newsletters, presentations, and event communications
  • Assist with video shoots, media tours, and other visual communications efforts, while supporting executive communications initiatives, including awards, recognition programs, and leadership messaging
  • Take and distribute concise meeting notes, assist in preparing agendas and presentations, and conduct research to support campaign planning, storytelling, and industry trend analysis
  • Help plan and staff internal and external events, occasionally providing support outside standard hours
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and creative reviews
  • Gain a strong understanding of how communications strategy and storytelling operate across a large media organization
  • Build skills in writing, media production, project coordination, and stakeholder communications, contributing to work that reaches employees, press, and partners across Disney Entertainment Television
